Haarlem based singer Maria Masur was born in Berlin and works as a singer, composer and singing teacher for jazz and pop music. She studied both Jazz Voice and Vocal Education in Berlin, Mainz (GER), Stuttgart (GER) and Lisbon (PT) and is the singer of several projects with which she gave concerts in Europe and the US. In May 2018, Maria released her debut album “Jetzt & Heute” (engl. “Now & Today”) with her jazz quartet IMA KYO. A release tour throughout Germany and appearances on radio and television followed. In September 2024 she released her second album “Postcard Picture” with the label DMG Germany. A release tour with concerts in Stuttgart, Berlin, Münster and Cologne followed in 2025.

Maria loves teaching as much as being on stage. For her, there is no more inspiring job than guiding singers of all levels and ages on their musical journey. With over a decade of teaching experience, her knowledge of Estill Voice Training and Complete Vocal Technique, as well as her certification in the Neuro Vocal Method, she creates lessons that meet each student's individual goals and strengths.
